The rainfall is something common in equatorial (not tropical!) regions like S'pore. They can be heavy and long. The thunderstorms accompaning them are fascinating and frightening. But even under this conditions S'poreans are jogging in the park. After such a rainfall temperatures are relative low. Nice feeling to walk after the rain in parks.
